The Insight Acupressure Faculty Alliance

     We are thrilled to announce the formation of the Insight Acupressure Faculty Alliance (IAFA), a dedicated group of independent faculty committed to preserving and perpetuating the teachings of the late Dr. Aminah Raheem. As a collective, we have joined forces to continue the legacy of Aminah's groundbreaking work in acupressure, which has transformed countless lives around the globe.

     You may have known Aminah's work under the names of Soul Lightening Acupressure, Process Acupressure, Clinical Acupressure, Acupressure for Anyone or Seva Stress Release, taught through Soul Lightening International. However, the sustainability of running the small volunteer-based organization post-pandemic resulted in the dissolution of the Soul Lightening International non-profit organization. Following Aminah's passing in October 2023, a group of passionate and experienced faculty agreed to forge a new path. In collaboration with her family, we formed the Insight Acupressure Faculty Alliance, ensuring the continuation of Aminah's original teachings while adapting to the changing landscape. With this change, Soul Lightening Acupressure will now be called Insight Acupressure.

     While the name has changed to Insight Acupressure, rest assured that the content and curriculum remain of the highest quality and align with Aminah's original vision. The Insight Acupressure Faculty Alliance is committed to preserving the essence of Aminah's work and maintaining the spirit of Soul Lightening Acupressure in all our teachings. As we move forward, we will be updating our study guides and reviewing the entire curriculum and certification process so that we can continue to offer the same quality training progression in addition to new classes.

     The word "insight" holds profound significance for us. In the context of acupressure, it represents the ability to bring processes into conscious awareness, tapping into our soul wisdom. Insight Acupressure is not merely a technique; it is a transformative journey that facilitates self-discovery, healing, and personal growth. By applying acupressure techniques, individuals can unlock the door to their inner wisdom, fostering a deeper understanding of themselves for whole being health and consciousness.
